TAXONOMY-BASED QUESTIONNAIRE

What Is It

Taxonomy-based questionnaire (TBQ) is a set of questions organized according to the taxonomy, or division into ordered groups or categories, of project development for the purpose of identifying risks by interviewing a group of one or more individuals (TBQ Interviews).

When To Use

Use this method

  • To identify relationships of project development and identify risks based on those relationships.
  • To re-assess the risk condition of the project.
  • Repeatedly to polish the questionnaire to fully capture the goals of the project.

This method

  • Is a structured approach to identifying risks. Depending on answers to questions, specific follow up questions is used to probe relationships and identify risks that would not have been identified otherwise.
  • Fosters risk awareness and personnel motivation and involvement.
  • Allows individual voices to be heard.
  • Can be used at any time.
