GANTT CHARTS

What Is It

A Gantt chart is a management tool to graphically represent schedule, project activities, activity durations (start and end date), the responsible persons, as well as assumptions, contingency plans (if assumptions are not met) and triggers for the actions.

When To Use

Use Gantt charts
  • For complex risk mitigation strategies and their actions.
  • To keep track of schedule and status on activities as part of mitigation planning.
  • To graphically represent items in relation to the "big picture."
