MITIGATION STATUS REPORT

What Is It

A mitigation status report is a method for evaluating risk mitigation plans on a periodic basis. It may include both textual (risk status, root causes, and mitigation actions) and graphical information (Time Graph, Gantt and Stoplight Charts) to display risk information and indicators. This method should be tailored to the specific needs of the organization to allow project personnel to make control decisions, highlight contingency plans and their associated triggers, and express the project's confidence in achieving the next milestone.
