MITIGATION STATUS REPORT
What Is It
A mitigation status report is a method for evaluating
risk mitigation plans on a periodic basis. It may
include both textual (risk status, root causes, and
mitigation actions) and graphical information (Time Graph, Gantt and Stoplight Charts) to display
risk information and indicators. This method should be
tailored to the specific needs of the organization to
allow project personnel to make control decisions,
highlight contingency plans and their associated
triggers, and express the project's confidence in
achieving the next milestone.
